Prophetic Voice Title: What Would it take to Sell out?
What is there in life that would cause you to compromise your faith? There are all kinds of temptation in life that some feel it is worth it to take the risk. What? Your salvation is less important than to fit in with the crowd? Sad to say, today many have fallen away because of that.
SAINTS: If you want to spend eternity with our Lord, think twice before copying the customs of the world.
“My Dear Children the life you have on earth is temporary. Your real life begins when you are resurrected with Me and have eternal life. The life you have on earth is to make you strong and enjoy My creation. It also is for you to live by My example and win the lost to Me. Sad to say too many have copied the customs of the world and sold their soul to the world. You might say not me!
My child Esau gave up his birthright for a bowl of stew because he was hungry. He gave his right as the firstborn son to his brother Jacob all for a bowl of stew. You might say that is different. Why is that different? Is it different because you put yourself before Me, or for sexual temptation, or to get ahead at work no matter the cost, or committing adultery? Many of you have lost your love ones because of your lifestyle. Drinking, caressing, cursing and the list goes on. Are you going to tell Me that is different than what Esau did? Yours is worse, his was for a bowl of stew.
Before you look to see what others are doing wrong, take the plank out of your eyes. The one that judges is Me. I am the one that has the last say. Remember: You have to face me on Judgment Day. If you don’t repent of your sins on earth, you will not spend eternity with Me. On Judgment Day you cannot say I’m sorry and you did not repent while you were on earth. I have My servants not only to spread My word but also showing you the way to eternity, and many of you ignore them. You have no excuse to change while you are on earth, says the Lord.”
Genesis 25:29-32 “One day when Jacob was cooking some stew, Esau arrived home from the wilderness exhausted and hungry. Esau said to Jacob, ‘I’m starved! Give me some of that red stew!’ All right, Jacob replied, but trade me your rights as the firstborn son. Look, I’m dying of starvation! Said Esau. What good is my birthright to me now?’
Luke 4:8-13 “Jesus replied, the Scripture say: You must worship the Lord your God and serve only Him. Then the devil took Him to Jerusalem, to the highest point of the Temple, and said, if you are the Son of God jump off! For the Scriptures say, He will order His angels to protect and guard you. And they will hold you up with their hands, so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. Jesus responded, The Scriptures also say, you must not test the Lord your God. When the devil had finished tempting Jesus, he left Him until the next opportunity came.”
1 Corinthians 10:13 “The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure.”
Romans 12:1-2 “And so dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all He has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice-the kind He will find acceptable, This is truly the way to worship Him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
