Prophetic Voice Title: Is Your Church Oblivious to Needy People?
There are many big and small churches that are just interested in bringing the Word, and as soon as they are finish they leave the pulpit. Many are oblivious to the ones that are sitting in the pew that are hurting physically and emotionally. They come up for prayer and tell the person that is praying for them, their situation, and they are told “God bless you, Jesus loves you.” That’s it! What!
SAINTS: We are made in God’s image. When we ignore the less fortunate we are ignoring Christ. The poor are just as much as God’s child as we are. Make sure your motives coincide with God.
“My Dear Children What do you see when you go to church? Do you see your friends? Do you comment how soft or loud the worship team is singing? Do you see the person next to you that you never met, and introduce yourself? If they are hurting do you pray for them? Do you offer them assistance?
Many claim, to be My child and yet ignore the ones that come to My House of worship to be encourage. Instead many walk out more discourage then encourage. Why is that? That happens because your too busy with your own agenda and oblivious to the people around you. If I did that to you-you would panic! You would say: ‘God why aren’t you answering me I am your child?’ It hurts Me to see how my less fortunate children who love Me being treated. Wake-up while there is time for you to change your attitude and your way of thinking, says the Lord.”
Mark 2:3-7 “Four men arrived carrying a paralyzed man. They couldn’t bring him to Jesus because of the crowd, so they dug a hole through the roof above His head. Then they lowered the man on his mat, right in front of Jesus. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, ‘My child your sins are forgiven.’ But some of the teachers of religious law who were sitting there thought to themselves, ‘What is he saying? This is blasphemy! Only God can forgive sins.”
Revelation 3:20-22 “Look! I stand at the door and knock; if you hear My voice and open the door; I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. Those who are victorious will sit with Me on My throne, just as I was victorious and sat with My Father on the throne. Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what He is saying to the churches.”
James 2:1-7 “My dear brothers and sisters, how can you claim to have faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ if you favor some people over others? For example, suppose someone comes to your meeting dressed in fancy clothes and expensive jewelry and another comes in who is poor and dressed in dirty clothes. If you give special attention and a good seat to the rich person, but you say to the poor one ‘You can stand over there, or else sit on the floor,’ doesn’t this discrimination show that your judgments are guided by evil motives? Listen to me dear brothers and sisters, hasn’t God chosen the poor in this world to be rich in faith? Aren’t they the ones who will inherit the Kingdom He promised to those who love Him? But you dishonor the poor! Isn’t it the rich who oppress you and drag you into court? Aren’t they the ones who slander Jesus Christ whose noble name you bear?”
